Our First Graduation!
July 14, 2024
Tumefurahi sana (We are so EXCITED!) to share our graduates with you!
To those who received partial certificates of completion for literacy/computers and sexual reproductive health (SRH), may you use the knowledge you gained to strengthen your confidence and share with your peers! We can't wait to see you accomplish new skills at Human is Kind! You are now the leaders of our center who will help guide our *younger members so that they too, can master the same knowledge. We are so proud of you and love watching you kuangaza! (SHINE!)

To those who fully graduated our program in literacy/computers, sewing, and SRH we are so honored to have had you with us these past few years. You have defined our center by guiding us to focus on what mattered the most for YOU! We will miss you dearly, especially our youngest members who looked up to your leadership and watched you grow into strong, confident women. But we also know that, as some of you embark in a higher education or go out to serve your community, you will continue to be a role model of endurance, knowledge and self-esteem to countless girls and women who cross your paths. We hope that you carry with you the spirit and knowledge you possess to not only those around you but to future generations to come!

PONGEZI KWENU NYOTE!
(Congrats to you all!)

*We aim to serve girls aged 9-19 in Obunga. Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) education includes teaching about menstrual health, sex and gender based violence which is not appropriate to teach at certain ages. These girls are excluded from SRH until they reach an appropriate age and we receive parental approval.
